At the ocean

After a long day of traveling, we arrived in Myrtle Beach yesterday. Alissa, Dave, and Tate came in a few hours later. We are renting a 5 bedroom townhome together for the next week. We have been talking about seeing the ocean and building a sand castle for the past 6 months so I think Cason and Tate were happy to finally see what the ocean and the beach are like.



There was an unfortunate incident resulting in our towels, the swim diapers, and Bryce's swim trunks being left at the rental house so Bryce couldn't get too far in the ocean but I don't think he minded.









Cason was clinging to our legs at first but then relaxed and had fun.

No one really got too far on a sand castle, the kids just weren't that into it.

Bryce loves birds so he was thrilled to see so many sea gulls.



Not too long before the ocean claimed another pair of our family's sunglasses. I lost a pair of Maui Jim's in Florida, a pair of Revo's in Maui, and now Kelly lost his Oakley's in South Carolina.
