Serious picture overload

Back before Bryce was born, I decided I wanted to get some professional newborn pictures of him. After he was born, I was worried they wouldn't turn out well because he only liked to sleep if he was being held or swaddled. It turned out that I was right. Angie only got a couple of cute pictures of him because he wasn't in the mood. She graciously offered to give us a free reshoot when the boys were older. I wanted to save that for when Bryce was close to one because we had professional pictures taken of Cason at 9.5 months and that turned out to be a great age to get cute photos. So in March, I contacted Angie and set up a day for a shoot in April.

Then I had to agonize to find the perfect outfits (just ask Alissa about that). It all started with a pair of shorts that Grandma G. bought Bryce last summer that I LOVED. I found some vibrant green and turquoise shirts for the boys that matched the shorts. Then I checked ebay and ordered Cason an identical pair of the shorts. Then Kelly and I just had to find shirts. We wanted to coordinate well but not be *too* matchy matchy and we ended up liking the end result.

Angie was so sweet to take our pictures for free that day AND give us a CD with all of the images. I love having the digital images, not just so I can print them off but so I can always have those digital copies to use for my blurb books and who knows what else in the future.

I was worried that one or both of the boys wouldn't be agreeable that day but to our surprise, they were both in the best mood possible. We bribed Cason with ice cream so he was happy throughout the entire shoot and did almost anything we asked of him. We were walking around downtown Denton and he kept asking "where is the ice cream?" We would reply "We're looking for it, let's go look over here!" and then take pictures while we "looked" for the ice cream.
