Our Thanksgiving week

Chris, Nick and Natalie arrived on Tuesday evening just before dinner. Kelly stayed up all night (literally) smoking this delicious brisket. He was so proud of how it turned out, his best yet, that he made me take pictures of it. It was very tasty, and I'm not even a fan of brisket. We had our Thanksgiving feast on Tuesday night. Kelly made brisket, his awesome sweet 'n smoky beans, cornbread muffins, and green beans. I made Oreo balls, peanut butter balls, and pumpkin roll. Can you tell who has the sweet tooth?



Wednesday we went to the Ice display in the morning and then stopped by a Cowboys Pro Shop for Chris and the kids to snag some new shirts. That afternoon, after Cason spent 2.5 hours in his crib not napping, we tried to go somewhere fun for the kids but the traffic was bumper to bumper on the interstate. So we ended up just dropping Chris, Nick, and Natalie off at the nearby movie theater and Kelly and I wandered around Best Buy with our boys waiting for the movie to end.

On Thursday morning, Kelly played flag football with some guys from church in their fourth annual Turkey Bowl.

On Thursday afternoon, Kelly, Chris, and Nick went to their first game in the new Cowboys Stadium.



I helped Natalie build a gingerbread house and then let her go to town decorating it.



Chris, Nick, and Natalie had to leave bright and early Friday morning but we enjoyed their visit!
