Some March funnies

A couple weeks ago I was taking Cason to preschool and all of the sudden he said "God's up there." He was looking out the window and up at the clouds. I replied "Oh. What's He doing up there?" just because I was curious as to what he would say. Cason said "Playing with miracles. That's His and Jesus' job."

A few weeks ago I was driving on some back roads near our house. I paused at a stop sign and there were no cars around so I guess it wasn't a great stop. Cason piped up, "Mom, you are supposed to stop at stop signs." I replied, "um... I did." He then responded, "Oh. Well Taylor stops better than you. She stops like all the other cars stop." We left Taylor, the babysitter, with our car when we did the CrossFit competition and she took the boys to her house. So I guess I need to watch my stopping now.

This morning I dropped Cason off at preschool and then Rycie and I headed to the gym. I was warming up and stretching and Rycie was hanging out in a tire. A fellow athlete and coach, Amy, came out of the bathroom and Rycie yelled "poop?" I said "No Rycie, she didn't poop." Everyone at the gym had a good laugh.

A few weeks ago I made Kelly some carrot cupcakes. This further intensified Rycie's love of cupcakes. Now he asks for them about 100 times a day. When I tell him we don't have any, he asks to make them. I tell him we will make some for his birthday but the little bugger doesn't give up, he continues to pester me over and over again about making cupcakes. Maybe I'll have to make some for Easter. Kelly got me a cupcake book about a year ago and I have yet to make any of the designs but Cason wants the alligator cupcake cake for his birthday so I'm excited to try it out. Both boys LOVE looking through the book and fight over it. Bryce insisted on taking it to church yesterday and showing his favorite teachers. He looked pretty cute walking into church carrying a book half the size of him.
