I can't believe how much he talks now. He was quiet for so long I thought he may never talk. Now he says over 100 words and adds new ones all the time. Some of his newer words are "thank you" (gotta love manners!) and he says "pick up, pick up" as he picks up his toys or puts his markers away.
Another thing he has been doing a lot lately is spinning in circles. I started it one day by doing Ring Around the Rosie with him. Now he will just spin in circles by himself and laugh. He still loves letters and knows, points out, and can say 20 of them. He also knows all the basic shapes, a couple of numbers, and the colors blue and pink. It's my fault he likes pink. I only give him one or two bathtub crayons at a time and I gave him pink first because it's my least favorite color and I wanted to get it out of the way first. Kelly says that the Law of Primacy means that he'll always remember pink:(
He still isn't a big fan of toys but he loves puzzles and can do some of his peg puzzles by himself. He also loves blocks. His current favorite thing to do is the classic toddler game of stacking the blocks up, knocking them over, and yelling "whoa!" Too funny. He is also really good at zippers and can unscrew almost any lid. We used to let him play with all kinds of random stuff like travel shampoo bottles, his toothpaste, empty milk cartons, etc. But now that he can unscrew lids, we can only let him have empty containers that have been washed out.
He also does what I call the "uh-oh siren". It started out cute but now it's rather annoying. If anything is knocked over or not completely up and down he will say "uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh...." repeatedly until it is fixed. Today we were leaving the house and I put Kielers (the dog) in her room and shut the door. He said "uh-oh!" and opened the door back up. There was a dog toy laying on it's side. He put it back the right way and shut the door, satisfied. I somehow blame Kelly for this obsessiveness to order.
This is what my silly boy does with stickers:

Oh my gosh, they do so many of the same things. Tate also has an obsessiveness to order. I'm glad he's not alone in that. :)
So cute! Collin likes to spin in circles too...we sing "if your happy and you know it" and he loves the turn around part!!
